Leslie was our first afghan and what a luck did
we have getting her!
She started her show career as a puppy winning
many puppy classes. She got her first
CC's in Finland and Sweden from the
Junior class and went on winning the Young
Afghan
of the Year competition in 1995.
In 1998, already pregnant with the
Choice C-litter, she won the prestigious
World
Winner –title. In 1999 she entered the
rings again winning numerous Best
of
Breeds
and groups. She started the
year 2000 with a bang, winning
Best In
Show
in Turku International Dog show
over 5300 dogs. She ended up Afghan
of The
Year 2000 in Finland and
Top
Afghan of The Year. 2001 she retired
as Afghan Bitch of the
Year 2001,
Top
Afghan of The Year 2001 and
had her second litter, the Pramya A-litter.
Leslie was a wonderful show dog,
but most importantly also a wonderful
dog to live with. Leslie passed away 2005.
